Reason to smile

Two or three weeks ago the production supervisor at Dorchester asked me for author info for my profile. It's three AM now but I'm up and feeling self-satisfied because I just placed my very first Amazon order (Chumplet, The Space Between is in there - finally!). Came to the e-mail to check for the order confirmation and found another Google Alert. (Thank you, Google!)

My author info, the same stuff that's going on the inside back cover of the novel, is now up on the Dorchester Publishing website. It's about time, yanno. I've been checking there off and on for months and wondering just when it would appear.

Yeah. I'm smiling.

Good for you, Lianne! I didn't know your existence was peripatetic. :)

I'm sure you'll come up with interesting things to say about yourself, Liane. Maybe you can get a friend to write it for you.

Thanks for ordering The Space Betweem! I hope you like it.

I'm having a release party today for Bad Ice with a Canada Day Trivia Contest. Drop by to comment, I'll keep a beer cold for you.

Everybody is smiling because this is great news. I like how it reads :)

The big day is soon and Amazon will probably ship Café Au Lait in August.

My dictionary didn't even have peripatetic but I did eventually find it and it is someone who walks about ;)

p.s. I bought chumplet's book but other people decided to borrow it. But now I have it back.

Pacha, it's so good to see you back in the blogosphere!

Matt, that's me all right, the original rolling stone!

Hi, Debs! Not long now...

Chumplet, I'll be there, but I'll pass on the beer. I can bring my own liquor, right?

akalol, you need to get a 'real' dictionary! I actually was thinking of the looser meaning 'movement or journeys hither and thither'. (Other people did what to your book? Come on, don't let those girls walk all over you... I never let anyone read my books before I do. :)

You're on Amazon.co.uk too, and I can pre-order you from there. How cool is that?!

nyc/caribbean, flowerpot, karen, chennette, zinnia - thanks for sharing the excitement with me.

pj, I entertain myself by Googling the bookstores around the world where the novel is popping up. I found an Italian one today!
