I'm not a 'joiner' usually, but this is the exception to that rule. I've just been accepted as a member of a really cool group of writers based in England, the Novel Racers. You can read my introductory post here.
The bio was interesting and I understand why you are a writer; you can write.
Only the brave ever achieve anything worthwhile and to quit the now lucrative job of teaching high school children a foreign language such as English was indeed a brave move.
I am looking forward to your novels and surely the contract-writers at Dorchester read your blog and must realize they are keeping good fans waiting :)
I'm with aka_lol -- fearless is good. Okay, so maybe not fearless, but brave -- bravery is often confused with crazy.
I think you have a voice of reason and insight -- it's a gift. Some people come from a "don't touch" and "you can't do that" mentality and it's hard for them to figure how it's reasonable to walk away from a honorable and paying job, but I'm so glad you did and can't wait for your books.
Was that a run on sentence?
If you miss your old job, you can go ahead and make corrections.
BTW -- If you are crazy, that's just par for the course. Throw in, "lives on a little island" -- totally authorific.

No, never did teach but I have been accused of speaking the language like it's my second language, and strangely, it's my only language :)
